Healthy food for dieting


If you are embarking on a diet, you are going to need a wide range of healthy food ideas if you want to stay on your diet.   One of the number one reasons that diets fail is that people are too restrictive with the types of food they allow themselves to consume.   There is a wide variety of healthy food options if you know how to stock your kitchen.

Of course the best healthy food choices when dieting are fruits and vegetables.   Vegetables in particular are the best healthy food to eat while dieting, since you can basically eat as many as you want and hardly add up any calories.

Snack foods that are healthy food choices include low fat pretzels and lightly buttered popcorn.   You might also combine a snack with a vegetable, such as celery sticks and peanut butter which make for a nice combination.  

Make sure you add fiber and protein to your diet as well by choosing healthy food items such as whole grain bread for fiber and eggs and fish for your healthy food protein sources.

Remember, that you can still snack on your favorite foods, so that you don’t binge and fail, but keep everything in constant moderation.
