3 Tips to Get Active and Lose Weight


We all want the perfect body and have an ideal weight in mind but getting there always seems to be a challenge. One of the biggest issues for many people is their level of activity. In order to lose weight you need to be active but in a world where people are so busy adding in some activity is not only difficult but near impossible. Here are 3 tips to adding a little activity to your day.

1. Instead of sitting on your lunch break be active. Take those 30 minutes and walk around the building or the parking lot. Just add in something active instead of sitting the entire time. As a friend to join you so you can both get active together.

2. Dag your bike out of the garage and use it. If you are heading to the local store don’t take the car. Not only is gas super expensive these days but it will take you just as long to go by car as it will by bike because of traffic and stop signs. Get the exercise and leave the car in the driveway.

3. While watching your favorite 30 minute sitcom on television each night run in place. You don’t have to run full speed as if you were sprinting across the continent but keep an even steady pace. This was you can still watch your show and get in some much needed activity.
