3 Easy Exercises to Relieve Stress at Work
Stress is one of the main reasons people become ill and work
is an easy way to get stressed out. Here are three easy exercises that you can
do at your desk to help relieve stress daily.
Water
Bottle Biceps
For this exercise you will need a full water bottle that you
can hold in your hand. Place your elbow on your desk with your arm extended
flat on the desk. Place the water bottle in your hand and curl your arm as if
you were lifting weights. This will help strengthen your biceps and also
relieve stress from a hard days work.
Leg
lifts
When you feel the need to get up from your desk and stretch
your legs take a minute to really stretch them out. Standing straight up tall,
place your hands on your hips and lift your leg out to your side and push until
you can feel the stretch from the top of your leg all the way to your toes.
Repeat with the other leg.
Stretching
your Upper Body
This can be done from the chair or while standing up. Extend
your arm above your head and lean to the opposite side of your body. Go far
enough that you can feel the stretch throughout your entire body. Repeat this
exercise with the other arm.
These exercises will help you stay stress free and feeling
good all day long.
