Exercises to Work-Out your Legs


If you sit in an office all day working at your computer, by the time you get off of work you may find the need to stretch and workout your leg muscles.   There are a few great exercises that will stretch out your sore legs and give you the relief of knowing you are staying in shape.  

The very first exercise that is a great overall workout for your entire body is called a squat.   A squat usually involves literally squatting with weights in your hands for a certain amount of reps.   You will want to keep changing the reps weekly in your workout so that your muscles do not start to develop muscle memory and the workout fails to work.

Cardio activities such as biking or kickboxing are also a wonderful workout for your legs.   Even though you may not build any muscle mass, you will find that you will feel much better if you get a light workout in each day.

If you have a gym membership, leg presses are also a great workout that will not stress out your back.   Due to the support of the backrest of the machine, you can add weight to your leg presses without worrying about straining your back.
